Festivities start June 27 at 4 p.m. followed by evening entertainment at 7 p.m.

Utah Arts Festival

2024 Liberty Day at This Is The Place

Celebrate America's birthday at This Is The Place Heritage State Park! This Independence Day event kicks off with a traditional flag ceremony by the Sons of the American Revolution. Then, enjoy fun activities like watermelon eating contests and a candy cannon! All regular park activities are available too.

Sandy City 4th of July Celebration

When: July 4, 2024

Sandy City celebrates the red, white, and blue in style. The 4th of July Community celebration starts with a 5k race, then enjoy activities for kids, a parade, and live entertainment. Later, a free concert featuring the Salamanders will take the stage. Food trucks and vendors will offer delicious food. Don't miss the dazzling fireworks display that caps off the night! This is a community celebration you won't want to miss.

Zoo Brew

When: July 10 & August 7, 2024

Want to experience Salt Lake's nightlife with a twist? Look no further than Zoo Brew, a summer event series at Hogle Zoo. Held on select Wednesdays after hours, Zoo Brew offers adults an exclusive chance to explore the zoo, minus the kids. Draper Days

Draper Days is an annual free festival with a variety of events, including a parade, a 5K race, sports tournaments, and movie nights. The heart of the event is a free concert and fireworks extravaganza at Draper Park on July 19th and 20th. Expect big-name musicians and a dazzling fireworks display. Bring your chairs, blankets, and appetite – food trucks will be there to fuel your fun.

Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo

When: July 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 2024

Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo is a historic event that celebrates Utah's heritage with thrilling rodeo action, live music, delicious barbecue, and a fun zone for kids. It's a fun-filled day for everyone! The rodeo takes place at the Days of '47 Arena at the Utah State Fairpark. Fun Zone opens at 4:30 p.m. and a special drone, firework show, and live music start at 10:45 p.m.

Utah Beer Festival

The Utah Beer Festival is your chance to try over 200 beers, ciders, hard seltzers, and kombuchas across two days at Granary Live and Granary Square. Magna Main Street Arts Festival

The Magna Main Street Arts Festival is a summer staple celebrating over two decades of artistic expression. 16th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival

Utah’s largest local-centric art, music, science, and technology festival, the Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival, is back for its 16th year. Over 500 local artisans, vendors, chefs, young entrepreneurs, performers, and STEM exhibitors gather for a three-day extravaganza at the Utah State Fairpark. Don’t forget to drop by one of the three DIY Stations where you can sit down and complete a quick, easy, and fun craft project for free.
